Denhay Farm announces winner in their search for the Ultimate Bacon Sandwich

Denhay Farms challenged the UK in November to find the best recipe for The Ultimate Denhay Bacon Sandwich. As multi award winning producers of traditional Dry Cured bacon, Denhay serves bacon sandwiches at many events throughout the year and decided to search for the very finest example of the bacon buttie!

After testing the hundreds of entries received, the team at Denhay announced Carl Parkin from Doncaster as the winner. Carl's winning entry:

Best Bacon Sandwich ?
It has to start with Fried Bread (Fried in butter) as the outside.
The very best thick Denhay smoked bacon
And The only sauce for Bacon is Brown Sauce.

"We had some brilliant recipes sent to us and the response was over-whelming. People obviously take great pride in how they make their bacon sandwiches! Carl's recipe, however, really is sublime.
