Dear
George and Amanda, I never normally do this, but I wanted
to say thank you for your fantastic bacon. Over the years
I have eaten in various restaurants (around the world!)
and on very rare occasions I have tasted bacon that has
the right balance between salt and smoke with a little
underlying sweetness. Usually there is too much of one
or the other, or the bacon is so over processed it doesn't
taste of anything. I'm not exaggerating when I say that
every time I buy bacon I hope to discover that
illusive flavour: I've tried lots of brands, but am always
disappointed. Yours on the other hand is the taste I've
been searching for: it's brilliant! Sorry to ramble on,
but I just wanted to say thanks, and lots of them.

Spoilt Pig Company,
Just a quick note to say that my wife bought your bacon
because of the claims on the packaging with regards
to the way that your pigs are kept, and that she is
also fed up with me complaining about, "Shrinking
white water trash" that seems to pass as bacon
these days. Your bacon was excellent, it kept its shape
in the pan and fried perfectly browning just as it should
do, and the taste, well it was great really enjoyed
it and we will obviously continue to buy your product,
thank you for putting the time and effort into producing
this bacon it is nice to see that producers such as
yourselves believe in producing a product that actually
is, what it should be, fantastic, cheers.

would like to complement you on your excellent Mature
Cheddar sold in Waitrose. The texture and taste are superb.
There are no other producers that get even close to this
cheddar. Many congratulations.

Wife and I have just tried your, ''Denhay Dry Cured Bacon',
and have only one comment,

It
may have been our first taste but it will not be our last.
It is the best we have ever tasted.

"discovered" your Dry Cured bacon in my local
Waitrose this week. It looked good and I read the info
on the back about its production and decided to try it.
All
I can say is "Wow!" It's been a lot of years
since I cooked bacon which didn't have any white gunk
leaking as it cooked. It crisped up wonderfully, didn't
shrink and tasted amazing.
I
will be telling all my friends and looking out for your
other products.

"The
more you can sell the sooner all the garbage that passes
for bacon will be swept away! And pigs will get a decent
life. I've emailed about 30 of my friends today to tell
them of my find. So often I have bought bacon that has
smelled fine when I've cooked it but has tasted awful.
Yours is perfection. The only other one that I like is
Daylesford Organic, which is mail order. To have something
of such good quality as Spoiltpig in local supermarkets
is definitely the way forward.
In case you like crab, you should try a company called
Seafoodandeatit. I found it in Waitrose, I've not seen
it anywhere else. The company offers pure unadulterated
white crab meat, brown crab and potted crab, which is
to the seafood world what you are to bacon. To a dedicated
foodie like me you people are the guys who should be getting
the £650,000 pensions!!! "

"We've just finished another
breakfast with your Spoiltpig bacon (unsmoked dry cured
back) bought from Morrisons.
We must congratulate you on
this wonderful bacon. It's the first time in a
long while that we have had a real bacon flavour and
texture. And when frying, there is no water in
the pan, the fat crisps beautifully. Please keep
Morrisons supplying this, we love it.
It's important to let producers
know when their products are good, well done to all
at the farm there.
Oh dear, none left, off to Morrisons
again!

does not leave a watery residue and has a true smokey
flavour with just the right amount of fat to keep it
